TOPIC: DOUBLE WONDERS

TEXT: ISAIAH 61:7

Imagine a life where God's abundance overflows, where every day is a celebration of His goodness and faithfulness. That's the life God offers us - a life of abundance, multiplication, and more than enough. "Double" means two, multiplication, more than enough. God is a God of abundance, providing more than we need.

To unlock Double Wonders, incorporate these six principles into your life:

1. Prayer (1 Thessalonians 5:17, Acts 1:14): Prayer brings unity and power. When faced with challenges, take them to God in prayer (Psalm 126:5). Don't give up; keep trusting God (Luke 1:37, Matthew 19:26).

2. Meditate on the Word of God (Joshua 1:8, Hebrews 4:12): God's Word is our guiding light and empowerment.

3. Give Thanks to God: There's power in praise and gratitude.

4. Attach Yourself to Positive People: Surround yourself with those who uplift and inspire you.

5. Have the fear of God.

6. Embrace the Spirit of Purity (1 Thessalonians 4:7): Live a holy life, recognizing your body as God's temple. Run from sin (John 15:2, Revelation 3:20).

To experience Double Wonders, obedience is essential. Listen to God's instructions, and Double Wonders will follow. By applying these principles, you'll unlock a life of abundance, joy, and fulfillment, reflecting God's love and character. May you walk in the light of God's love and experience the abundance He has promised.

As you embark on this journey, remember that God's power and provision are available to you. Trust in His goodness, and watch as He transforms your life in amazing ways.

With God, anything is possible, and Double Wonders are within your reach.

TOPIC: SUSTAINING YOUR RELEVANCE THROUGH DISCIPLINE

In a world where distractions are endless and motivation can be fleeting, discipline stands as the cornerstone of success. It's the bridge between goals and accomplishments, between dreams and reality. Discipline is not just about following rules; it's about embracing a lifestyle that propels you toward your aspirations.

Discipline can take you to places you least expect, unlocking doors to new opportunities, growth, and fulfillment. It's the key to sustaining your relevance in a rapidly changing world. By cultivating discipline, you'll not only achieve your goals but also live a life of purpose and meaning.

To unlock your full potential, focus on these six areas:

1. Discipline Your Appetite: Nourish your body and mind with wholesome choices, fueling your journey to success.

2. Discipline Your Finances: Manage your resources wisely, investing in what truly matters (Proverbs 21:20).

3. Discipline Your Time: Prioritize tasks, allocate time effectively, and make the most of every moment.

4. Discipline Your Speech: Speak with intention, kindness, and wisdom, uplifting those around you (Psalm 141:2).

5. Discipline Your Thoughts: Focus on what is true, noble, and praiseworthy, cultivating a mindset that inspires and motivates (Philippians 4:8).

6. Discipline Yourself to Learn: Develop a hunger for knowledge, skills, and personal growth, staying relevant in an ever-changing world (2 Timothy 2:15).

Discipline is not about restriction; it's about liberation. It's the freedom to live purposefully, to pursue your passions, and to make a lasting impact. By embracing discipline, you'll unlock your potential, achieve lasting success, and sustain your relevance in life.

In conclusion, discipline is the foundation upon which success is built. It's a choice, a commitment, and a journey. By applying these principles, you'll not only achieve your goals but also live a life that truly reflects your values and aspirations. So, embark on this journey of discipline, and watch as your life transforms in meaningful ways

SERMON TOPIC: SUSTAINING YOUR RELEVANCE

PREACHER: PASTOR SOLA ADEWUNMI

Relevance is not about occupying a lofty office, acquiring wealth, or holding public titles. True relevance is the ability to consistently make impactto influence lives meaningfully and leave behind legacies that outlive your existence. Sustaining relevance, therefore, means maintaining that impact across generations in a way that glorifies God.

Your relevance should not be circumstantial or tied to a position; it must be rooted in who you are in Christ and how your life reflects His glory. In Exodus 18:21–25, we see that relevance can be expressed in different spheres: politics, administration, education, and governance. Throughout history, some individuals have remained influential long after their time on earth, because their legacies were built on purpose and God-given vision.

In every Nation, community, or institution, God desires His sons and daughters to rise as agents of change and relevance.

STEPS TO BECOMING RELEVANT

i. Know God IntimatelyNot just casually or religiously, but intimately—understanding His power, His nature, and your identity in Him. (Daniel 11:32b) “The people who know their God shall be strong and do exploits.” Knowing God is the foundation of lasting relevance. He is the giver of purpose and the sustainer of destiny.
ii. Discover the Sphere of Influence God Has Called You ToEvery person has a God-ordained area of relevance—be it business, education, media, governance, or ministry. Ask, where has God positioned me to shine? Your relevance must align with your divine assignment.
iii. Write Down Your Vision ClearlyMap out your goals and how you plan to achieve them. Be precise, prayerful, and intentional. (Habakkuk 2:2 )“Write the vision and make it plain… that he may run who reads it.” Don’t live aimlessly; vision provides direction and sustainability.
iv. Master the Basics Beyond Your Expertise

Don’t limit yourself to one skill or area. Develop supportive knowledge in related fields—communication, leadership, finance, digital tools. Being versatile multiplies your value and increases your opportunities for impact.

v. Learn to Overcome Obstacles

“He who did not spare His own Son… how shall He not with Him freely give us all things?” – Romans 8:32Expect challenges, but don’t bow to them. Overcoming trials builds endurance and refines your relevance.

HOW TO SUSTAIN YOUR RELEVANCE

i. Stay Focused and in Partnership with God

Remain focused on what God has placed in your hand. Do not be easily distracted by trends or comparison. Minor talents often begin to manifest as you stay faithful in your lane.  “Commit your works to the Lord, and your thoughts will be established.” – Proverbs 16:3

ii. Keep Learning and Growing

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” – Hosea 4:6Daniel remained relevant through the reign of multiple kings—why? He never stopped learning. “In all matters of wisdom and understanding… he was found ten times better…” – Daniel 1:20

iii. Grow Your Capacity Through Challenges

“Little by little I will drive them out before you… until you have increased and possess the land.” – Exodus 23:30Growth often comes through stretching. Embrace responsibility, it expands your capacity and reach.

iv. Embrace Discipline

Daniel chose not to defile himself—discipline preserves relevance. “But Daniel purposed in his heart…” – Daniel 1:8“He who rules his spirit is better than one who takes a city.” – Proverbs 16:32b

v. Keep the Right Company

Your circle can either sharpen or sabotage you. “He who walks with wise men will be wise…” – Proverbs 13:20Daniel had like-minded companions: Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who upheld Godly values.

vi. Be Original and Authentic

“Do not say, ‘A conspiracy,’ concerning all that this people call a conspiracy...” – Isaiah 8:12Imitating others kills uniqueness. Originality attracts lasting influence. Don’t blend in; stand out for the right reasons.

vii. Remain in Fellowship with God

“There was a famine in the land… and the Lord appeared to Isaac…” Genesis 26:1–2God’s presence sustains relevance. Never outgrow prayer, worship, and fellowship. The moment you disconnect from the Source, you start fading.

In God’s agenda, relevance is not accidental. It is intentional, spiritual, and sustainable. You may start small, but with consistency, knowledge, and alignment with God’s purpose, your relevance will echo through generations.“The path of the just is like the shining sun, that shines ever brighter unto the perfect day.” Proverbs 4:18
