Topic: Women of Higher Heights

Text: Philippians 3:14-16

We are aware that God created two genders. Talking about women here today should not limit us from learning something as a church. We are not just talking about heights; there is an adjective that qualifies it here – Higher heights. There are levels before getting to higher; we have high, higher, and on and on.

God wants us to move forward because He hates stagnation. Let us take time to reflect on this. God wants us to grow and move forward in every circle or place we might find ourselves because we are important to God, and He wants us to progress. As women, we are not just vessels; we are vessels with a purpose, called to impact and elevate.

STEPS TO GET TO HIGHER HEIGHTS

1. There must be a state of reflection: We must understand why we need to go higher. What is it that God is calling you to? What is the purpose that drives you?

2. Aspire to Perspire: You must aspire to perspire to move to the next stage or move forward. It comes with hard work, discipline, consistency, dedication, and more. You can't achieve higher heights without effort.

3. Baptism of the Holy Spirit is Required: We need the in-filling of the Holy Spirit to guide and lead us at all times. Involve God in every step you take, and He will direct your path.

4. Fervent Prayer is Important: Keep praying until your joy is full. Tarry in the place of prayer. Don't give up, no matter the challenge. Don't be weary and tired in the place of prayer because you don't know when your prayers will be answered or which one the Lord will answer first.

5. Read the Word of God to Success: The Word of God is beneficial to you. Love it, read it, and meditate on it. It is the lamp to your feet and the light to your path.

6. Hearken Diligently to the Word of God: Listen with rapt attention and be obedient (Jeremiah 29:11). God has great plans for you, and He will promote you to something greater. Don't miss out on His plans for you; listen and obey.

7. Work Diligently and Not Slothfully: You must be known for excellence wherever you find yourself or at your workplace. People who want to attain higher heights should be hardworking, dedicated, and passionate about what they do.

CONCLUSION

A higher height sets a woman at a great advantage and sets God as the ultimate planner and champion. Your duty is to be determined, never give up, and strive for the best. You are next in line for a testimony! God believes in you, and He has great plans for you. Don't let stagnation define you; let progress be your story. Rise, shine, and elevate!

As you embark on this journey to higher heights, remember that it's not about perfection; it's about progress. Take one step at a time, and God will take you to the next level. You are a woman of destiny, and your time is now. Don't settle for less; strive for more. God is with you, and He will see you through.

You are a champion, and your testimony is on the way. Keep shining, keep pressing, and keep reaching for the higher heights. God bless you!

‎TOPIC: FROM STRUGGLE TO SPIRITUAL BREAKTHROUGH

TEXT: 2 Corinthians 12 verse 9

Struggle is often the pathway to spiritual growth and a precursor to breakthrough. In 2 Corinthians 12:9, the Lord says, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." The place of weakness is where God chooses to display His strength.

Jacob was alone in his struggle as he wrestled with the Angel. That encounter did not destroy him; it changed him. He received a new name as a reward - Israel (God's prince). His battle produced a blessing and change of destiny. Jacob's story teaches us that struggles can be transformative, leading us to a new level of faith and understanding of God's power.

David also had an encounter with Goliath (1 Samuel 17:45). God brought David as a solution to the struggles facing His people. What looked like a dangerous confrontation became the beginning of his elevation. Humanly speaking, he did not look worthy, but by God’s grace, he conquered the giant. David's victory shows us that with God, our inadequacies become opportunities for His strength to shine through.

The Lord will fight your battles, and you will hold your peace. The challenges you see today will not last forever. You will see the glory of God in your life. There is no glory without a story. Many people who appear to be winning today once passed through serious battles that prepared them for their victories.

Jesus faced temptation in the wilderness, yet He overcame. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. Your season of joy has begun. Jesus' victory over temptation is our example of how to overcome struggles. By relying on God's word and power, we too can overcome.

We are also reminded that after a victory, the enemy often tries to strike. That is why we must remain rooted in God. The way to enjoy this grace is by surrendering yourself to Jesus. As a solution provider, you need the grace of God.

Beloved, when you are weak, God’s strength is in action. Know this:

You are winning and winning forever

You are a champion and champion forever

You will never become an ex-champion.

3 John 2 says, "Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it is well with your soul." This is your testimony throughout the year 2026 and beyond.

As God prepares to use you to transform your world, your family, and your church family, be bold in His strength.

Additional thoughts:

- Struggles refine us, preparing us for greater things.

- God's strength is perfected in our weakness.

- Stay rooted in God, and you'll overcome.
